Embracing Pantone's Colour of The Year 2024

The announcement of the Pantone Colour of the Year for 2024 has sparked excitement in the world of interior design. In recent years, we have seen a significant shift in how colour is perceived and incorporated into interior design. In 2023, Viva Magenta and Very Pery took center stage with their vibrant and transitional shades, captivating attention and inspiring creativity. Looking ahead, we are poised to witness an explosion of colour in our living spaces. In 2024 and beyond, a wider palette of shades will fill our homes, reflecting a renewed appreciation for the emotional impact and transformative potential of colour. This goes beyond following trends; it’s about creating spaces that tell stories, evoke emotions, and truly represent their inhabitants.

The Pantone Colour of the Year for 2024 is Peach Fuzz, a captivating blend of pink and orange (identified as 13-1023), symbolizing kindness, love, and inclusivity. Departing from the vibrant hues of previous years, Peach Fuzz ushers in a new era of tranquility, comfort, and harmony.

Notably, industry leaders have embraced this enchanting colour. Ruggable, for example, has unveiled a limited-edition rug collection to celebrate the Colour of the Year 2024. Additionally, Spoonflower and Pantone have collaborated to create three artist-designed wallpapers in mesmerizing shades of pink and peach.

Personally, I see Peach Fuzz as an exhilarating opportunity to create inviting and cosy spaces. I am eagerly anticipating incorporating this distinctive colour into my future designs.

If you’re ready to transform your spaces and bring the warmth, tranquillity, and inclusivity don’t hesitate to get in touch – let’s embark on this exciting colour journey together!
